Please make sure you use the appropriate channel or board if you want to state something. For example, the trade channel and the trade boards are restricted to trading Tibia-related content only, so do not ask there, e.g. for quest hints. Also, you should limit real life topics such as discussions about music or movies to the "RL-chat" or private conversations.

Moreover, it is considered rather impolite to lead public conversations in a language which not everyone can understand. Surely you would not like to see the public channels spammed with seemingly senseless sentences or words. This is how it feels for many other players if you talk to your friends in your native language such as Portuguese or Swedish. Since most players can understand at least basic English and this is the official language in Tibia, it has to be used for public communication in the game channels as well as on the boards. The only public channel and boards where languages other than English are welcome are the "RL-chat" and both the real life and the convention board. Note that you can talk in any language in default channel, of course, because it is not a public chat channel.
