I purchased this Daito with the thought that the swordsonline ratings were a little bit exaggurated, but i was proven wrong, The bending of the blade makes it sorta streamlined in the air when you are cutting, therefore making it faster AND easier to cut with, most of the swords i own break the twigs and sticks that i cut, because i dont sharpen them, fearing to scratch their blades, but this one, it made a clear cut out of 2 bamboo sticks put over each other, This is a truly remarkable sword, and i truly recommend it to any EXPERIENCED swordsman, Those of you who are beginners may want to start with less complex items, because this one CAN and WILL cut you badly if you are not careful...
