Facts:

1. I didn't owe ekx any money for sales of ElfBot NG. The only alleged money owed was for an investment in game artwork for the MMORPG I'm working on. I gave ekx proof that he was getting his fair share of ElfBot NG sales. I owed him nothing else for ElfBot NG. In short, to claim that he wasn't getting paid is a lie.

2. There were never any attempts by ekx to update ElfBot NG since the last update despite months of asking him to fix the bugs. The last release of ElfBot NG was on May 8th, 2010. I didn't go on vacation until August 5th, 2010. That's three months of keeping our customers in the dark before I went on vacation. Trying to blame me for going on vacation is nonsense. If ekx really wanted to contact me, he has my email address and cell phone number. That also doesn't explain or excuse ignoring our customers for three months before I even went on vacation.

3. I didn't decide to stop ekx from updating ElfBot NG. He decided to stop updating it for three months and then altogether. If he really cared about the customers then he wouldn't leave his software with bugs that long without any kind of discussion.

4. The phrase "free updates for life" means for the life of the software. ElfBot NG is dead so there are no more free updates. If ElfBot NG is sold again without free updates then you will have a legitimate complaint.

5. Competition is a good thing. Now that I have a worthy adversary, I will redouble my efforts on GhostBot NG to make it the best bot ever. This may be the end of ElfBot NG but it is the beginning of a new era of botting. Stay tuned in the future for many rapid updates, not months of silence.

6. People love drama so this will be my last post on this issue unless anything changes, which I doubt it will.
