When you are moving with keys, then your connection is essential (ping). A ping can be described as the response time of computer b to a signal of computer a. In our case ping means how fast the tibia server responds to a command from your computer. The better (lower) your ping, the faster you will be able to move with keys. The movement speed from tile 1 to tile 2 will be still at the right speed. But since the server has to wait for a new command (comming from your keyboard in this case), the overall speed from place a to place b will be much slower.

If you use the 'autowalk option', meaning that you either click in the screen or the minimap, you will always walk as fast as your character is able to. Still the mousecommand needs a certain time to reach the server (look for keys above) thus you can reproduce the same effects as with keyboard, if klicking near to you repeatedly. Additionally to the keyboardmovement a certain time will be needed to do the path-finding (your computer has to calculate whether there is a path from your current location to the point you clicked). Note that if the server is lagging for everyone your speed will appear slower than usual, but since it applies to everyone, thats no problem.

Frames Per Second (FPS) have only a subjective impact on your speed. You will simply not move smoothly on your screen and see other things move jerking too. For other players however you move like everyone else.
